✿ Reunify ✿

It's past midnight; isolated roads were screaming the vulnerability of Ankita. Upon that, it's pouring heavily, like sky screeching with loud thunders and only flash lightning illuminating her way.

She was beautifully bedecked in a red saree, which hugged her hourglass body like her second skin. Her silky locks were wet, sticking to her face. And her fair skin showed from her saree, which turned transparent due to rain.

She's walking aimlessly on vacant roads. But what's bothering her? As her tears mixed in rainwater cascading down her curvy body. She's beautiful and, at the same time, broken.

She was looking straight without consciously knowing anything in particular. Her heart was bleeding with the flames of love. When she finally decided to give life a second chance, nevertheless knowing she can't move on from her love of life, Adhir.

Ankita, after three years of her divorce with the constant push of her worried mother for her future, went on an arranged date. But fate played its tricky game, bringing two broken souls face-to-face. Due to a lack of choice, they parted ways.

Adhir never wanted to leave. Ankita still had circumstances that made them divorce. For the first time after their divorce, Adhir returned to India from Boston. Though he left Ankita, he never missed knowing her life updates through his personal spy.

Ankita, thinking she would forget Adhir, mesmerizingly decked herself. When she reached the spot expecting to meet her date, surprisingly she bumped into Adhir, who only returned for her.

A sudden meeting of those souls who yearned for love and comfort was lost in each other's eyes with a depth of longing and pain, knowing they couldn't unite all over again. A soft music playing in the background, like applauding for their accidental meet.

Adhir was awestruck and got lost in the beauty of his ex wife, Ankita. Ankita never imagined meeting her ex-husband on her date. Warm tears cascaded from Ankita’s eyes with the sudden appearance of Adhir. She knows no matter what, but there's a soft corner for Adhir.

They both were too consumed in each other's unspoken feelings. Everything went slow-motion for them. But their moment was broken by Adhir’s friend Rina, who was also his personal assistant.

“Adhir, take a look at this decor. It's pretty right,” the gentle voice of Rina broke their eye contact, returning them to reality.

Ankita felt a pang in her heart, assuming Rina was Adhir's girlfriend. Her heart is broken even though they were divorced, and she can't see Adhir with anyone. She gazed between Adhir and Rina, registering the fact he could never be hers again.

Harshly wiping her tears, she turned heels, marching to exit the cafe. Firstly, Adhir's unexpected appearance shakes her undisturbed feelings, which she buried in the depths of her heart.

Secondly, Rina’s closeness with Adhir felt like a stab in her heart. Adhir was appalled with Ankita's departure within a few minutes of their meeting.

Leaving befuddled Rina at the cafe, he rushed behind Ankita. After all, he still loves her. Only they're parted lawfully, but their hearts beat for each other.

He started his car, driving in the direction Ankita left. He was tense and overwhelmed getting a glimpse of his ex-wife. The way she left aroused numerous doubts in his mind, making him restless.

 Does she hate me?

She doesn't want to see me?

‘I know we parted our ways, but that doesn't mean she has to be hard on me,’ thought Adhir, driving his brand new Range Rover at insane speed, searching for Ankita.

Worsening his situation, it started raining heavily, blurring the car mirror and disrupting the view on the road. He continuously raked eyes on secluded roads. His worry and excitement were high, making him insane. After all, he got to see her after fcvking three years directly.

His gaze caught the petite figure of Ankita haphazardly walking on the side of the empty road. He immediately screeched brakes, stopping the car in front of Ankita.

Raindrops hit his strikingly handsome face. His face was morphed with distress and care. She lifted her tear-filled gaze, which was concealed in rainwater. He fisted hands tightly, piercing nails into the skin. Because he can't see her in tears right now, who is vulnerable seeing her ex-husband.

“Wh..why did you come?” She queried in her hoarse, dry voice when he stood before her.

She's visibly shivering from the cold and chilly weather. Her eyes were red due to crying. He noticed her fragile state. His tall figure towered over her. Now his shirt was completely wet, detailing his well-crafted abs and hard chest. Wet hair fell on his forehead.

“Because I still fcvking care for you,” he blurted with a gloomy tone.

He thought their relationship wasn't that ugly and nasty. They parted respectfully in court. So why is she distancing him?

He stepped forward, looking deep into her eyes, which were speaking volumes of pain. She lowered her gaze. He slowly cupped her face, lifting it up.

Her lips wobbled, and her eyes were still down.

“I know you still love me, and so do I,” he mumbled, leaning on her lips. Ankita sucked her lower lip, torturing it by biting.

“Dhir, we're separated,” she breathed, whispering. Adhir's eyes were only fixed on her lips. They were standing inches apart; with a single move, lips would meet.

Their fronts were crushing in between. Listening to her words, Adhir closed his eyes out of frustration. They both know they love each other madly, yet denial was larger than acceptance.

“Ankita, we both know the reality of our relationship. So don't remain me,” Adhir intimidatingly alarmed Ankita.

“Still, we can't do this, Dhir,” she said with proneness, which further angered him.

“Remember, it's you who asked for divorce. I love you crazily to the extent of leaving you,” he said, pecking her lips leisurely.

She gasped for air, realizing what's happening. “Dhir, we're not supposed to do this,” she warned him, though she wanted to.

“Shut up, Ankita. For a moment, let's forget everything.”

He crashed his lips on her luscious petals. She stilled, and he didn't move lips, feeling her. He further traveled his hand down her waist sensually, feeling the curves. She breath moaned, giving into his warm touch even in this cold environment.

He started moving his lips on hers, caressing her waist and holding her nape with another hand. Unknowingly, she fisted his collar.

Rain was heavily pouring, making them soaked. It's like the sky witnessing their reunion and hauling them with thunder and lightning. Rain showering love on them with happiness.

Adhir never wanted to distance Ankita, but he was helpless to do so. But when he got to feel Ankita and her love all over again, why would he miss it?

He lifted her holding waist and moved to his car parked. He pinned her against the car door while kissing. Now Ankita reciprocated the kiss, moving her lips in sync. It's like their lips were conveying untold feelings.

He tugged her lower lip while she sucked his upper lip. The kiss was slow yet intense with deep strokes. Ankita's heart was pounding loudly in her chest with excitement and unknown worry.

He effortlessly titled her face, angling to deepen the kiss. She willingly gave in to him. She fisted his hair when he nibbled her lower lip, leaving a stinging pain. She pulled his face more into her, and he was too lost for her. He licked her lips to soothe her pain. Further, he fought for the entry of the tongue into her mouth. When their tongues met, there's no dominance but urgency for each other.

He can sense her breathlessness, yet he didn't want to detach. He can feel her hard nipples. Ankita was feeling aroused getting her front crushed by him.

Feeling out of breath, she tapped his shoulder to detach. Unwillingly, he moved back, still giving open-mouth kisses to her.

Ankita's mind was in a haze digesting everything. Adhir wanted more of her.

“Dhir, we're doing wrong,” she said while gasping for air to fill her lungs. Her chest was visibly raising up and down, which rhythmic touching of her erect buds to his hard chest.

His eyes darkened, feeling her erect buds.

“Ankita, we aren't cheating on anyone,” Adhir assured Ankita, caressing her wet waist.

Moving a step back, he opened the back seat door and laid her on the seat. He followed by hovering and closing the car door.

Ankita was perfectly caged under him. Her wet locks spread on the seat, and the car seat got wet with their damp clothes. Though they cared less while drowning in love and desire for each other.

Adhir gazed intently into her eyes, supporting his weight on elbows.
